VIPERS meeting in Portsmouth

14 Jun 2010 - 12:00am
16 Jun 2010 - 11:59pm

The 3rd VIPERS collaboration meeting will take place at the Institute of Cosmology and Gravitation, in Portsmouth, from the 14th-16th of June.

There is no conference fee, but you do need to register so that we can organise the catering. Please use this web form to do so. A list of participants will appear here , but as this list is updated manually don't (immediately) panic if your name doesn't show.

The meeting will start at around 2pm on the Monday, and finish early afternoon on the Wednesday. We will post a more detailed programme nearer the time.

You can find information on accommodation options here , and travel information here (please note that Gatwick and Southampton airports are the most convenient).

We are planning on gathering everyone for dinner both on Monday and Tuesday evening, possibly in a pub on the Monday and a nice restaurant on the Tuesday. Let us know whether you'd like to join us when you fill in your registration form.

There will also be a public talk, given by John Peacock, on Monday from 6-7pm and followed by a drinks reception. Attendance is free, but you must let us know if you'd like to come as places may be limited.

If you have any questions just drop an email to Rita or Will.

We look forward to seeing you in Portsmouth!
