Several members of ICG spent time at the [http://www.intech-uk.com/ Intech Science Centre], near Winchester this week in support of [http://www.intech-uk.com/folders/visitor_info/events/world_space_week.cfm World Space Week] (October 4th-9th).
ICG was supporting the [http://www.sepnet.ac.uk/ SEPnet] stand at World Space Week, and ran several educational demos, from illustrating how we detect dark matter, and talking about the scale of the solar system, to showing what's inside a telecope, and how to split light using a CD.

In addition ICG ran a "Space Quiz" with a prize draw from all correct entries each day. Prizes included an annual subscription to Astronomy Now, and a sculpure of the known universe.
